For two decades, Golden Eagle was a must visit destination for golf lovers. The 18-hole course designed by Rocky Roquemore spread over 100 acres. Golden Eagle quickly became one of the most beautiful and challenging Course in Europe. Before becoming a golf reference, this place was a premier holiday destination for well-known figures from high society. There remain tiles that commemorate a visit from António Oliveira Salazar.
